Bioprime Agrisolutions 

The Government’s Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) has a scheme – Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) that provides financial assistance to early stage startups pursuing indigenous ideas and technologies. BioPrime Agrisolutions has been selected to receive seed funding under this scheme.

The startup works in developing new solutions in plant breeding. BioPrime’s patented “organo-nano-regulator technology” uses agriculture biologicals to activate/regulate/modulate certain novel targets in plant or pest physiology.

This fund will primarily be used for

• Scaling-up from manual mode to an automated/semiautomated mode
• Expanding into new markets outside Maharashtra.
• Trials- Validation of results though State Agri University
• Obtain organic certification
